Mission: Beautiful

At the age of 26, I was diagnosed with stage 4, Her2+, Estrogen receptive, non-BRCCA gene breast cancer. It was a long road, but throughout it all, I tried very hard to feel normal.

I was only 26! I wanted to party with my friends, go out on dates with my new boyfriend (of only 1 week) and attend all the birthday parties and weddings I attended.

So, my mission was to try and make myself feel beautiful - all the time. I wore red heels to my doctors appointments.
Bright wigs to my chemo treatments.
Even cute socks that said "Sexy" to my radiation appointments.

All of these things were to remind myself that I was still beautiful on the inside - and outside! Hair or no hair, I was still me!

So, I'm trying to start an organization "Fighting Pretty" to help women all over the world feel beautiful during and even after their cancer treatments.

Stay tuned for more!
