This cause is very important, and I know you guys are doing wonderful things, but please do not bypass the depth of what you are doing by writing about "feeling sexy and desirable with a new partner". What does being " young and dating" have to do with fighting cancer? Not only was it irrelevant, but it was also poorly written.
ReplyDeleteThe hospital is one of the least personal, most uncomfortable places to be stuck in, and that is magnified sevenfold if you also are dealing with the emotional and physical trauma of something like cancer. The nail polish and pink packages are symbols of something bigger than impressing a spouse (or anyone else!). We need to help our sisters in every way we can to feel comfortable and cared about as individuals who are fighting for their lives. Please do not downplay this anymore, and leave the irrelevant "dating" talk out completely.
This was not a very positive response!!! Dating is a very important topic to those single ladies looking for love while fighting pretty! Let's all remember that we all need to be positive and post words of positivity and encouragement. The article was VERY WELL WRITTEN and VERY ENCOURAGING and RELEVANT to what some are going thru. Let's remember to always be positive and encouraging, and Kara, I thank you for your words of encouragement on many topics and for all that you do , you are an AMAZING WOMAN!! Thank you , Thank you, Thank you ( I somehow feel that thank you is not enough for all that you do, but it's all I can offer right now LOL)
